5BB Broadband takes home Broadband Telecom Company of the Year - Myanmar at Asian Telecom Awards
Within five years, the company has now provided top-quality broadband internet service to 16 major cities and provinces.

Global Technology Company brand 5BB Broadband clinched the Broadband Telecom Company of the Year - Myanmar at the recently held Asian Telecom Awards for its success in bringing faster, stronger and more affordable home broadband internet services in Myanmar in under five years.
Starting back in 2017, 5BB Broadband was only able to provide services in the cities of Yangon and Mandalay with a start of 1Mbps. Now, due to its dedication to improving internet connectivity and accessibility in Myanmar, 5BB has expanded its services to around 16 major cities and provinces, providing a 1Gbps speed available to families, homes and businesses.
With its success in reducing the cost by 300%, 5BB Broadband’s services now cover over 90% of Myanmar’s population. This helps citizens of Myanmar to use the internet with ease without any barriers during the COVID-19 outbreak in Myanmar.
Since the first outbreak, 5BB Broadband has always been there for Myanmar citizens. Establishing a larger emergency response system with 5BB Broadband internet in Phaung Gyi ( which later becomes one of the largest COVID-19 treatment centres in Myanmar), introducing contactless communicated treatment to COVID centres, and providing 24/7 technical support to these quarantine centres to further reduce the spread of COVID-related diseases.
